UCare Foundation

We don't just send money. We show up.

UCare funds local organizations, collects the supplies they ask for, and brings volunteers to work alongside them — painting, building, sorting, serving.

From our 2023 filing
$23,713

went out in 2023, and our operating and administrative expenses were zero. No officer or director takes any compensation. Both figures are on our filed federal return.

Three ways we work

We fund.

Usually a grant to a local organization that knows its own neighborhood. Sometimes, where there is no organization to fund, the work itself.

We gather.

Classroom supplies, school supplies, food, wish-list gifts — collected across our markets and delivered where they were asked for.

We show up.

Done-in-a-day projects where volunteers paint, rebuild, plant, sort and serve.
