What we are
UCare Foundation, Inc. is a private foundation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, incorporated in Utah and exempt since 8 February 2023. Our EIN is 92-2215322.
We are a private foundation, not a public charity. The difference matters to you: the amount a US taxpayer can deduct for a gift to a private foundation is lower. Our donation policy sets out the detail.
Who runs it
These three are the Foundation's officers, and together they are its entire board of directors.
Founded UCare in 2023, and founded New U Life, Xygenyx and Life Balanced Wellness. A donor to the Foundation as well as its president.
Runs the Foundation's projects, grants and reporting. COO of Xygenyx and Life Balanced Wellness, and an advisor to New U Life.
Keeps the Foundation's records and filings. Senior Director of Legal and Human Resources at New U Life.
We have listed those second roles on purpose. The people who run the Foundation are not independent of the people who fund it, and we would rather say so than let you work it out. What it means today: none of us is paid by the Foundation, and the Foundation's money cannot flow to those companies or to anyone connected with them. We are building out the Foundation's management and board as it grows.
No officer or director receives any compensation from the Foundation, and none has since it was established.

Our related companies
UCare Foundation was founded by Alexy Goldstein, who also founded New U Life, Xygenyx and Life Balanced Wellness, and who serves as the Foundation's President. We would rather tell you that than have you find it out.
Those companies have donated to the Foundation, their people raise money for it and volunteer on its projects, and they are named as partners wherever they are involved. It is the reason a small foundation can reach as far as it does.
The Foundation's money is not available to them, no image of anyone our work reaches may be used to advertise a product, and no grant may benefit any individual connected to them.
