UCare Foundation: Giving Back to Thailand
As part of this monumental occasion, the UCare Foundation, the charitable arm of New U Life Corporation, donated $10,000 (322,063 baht) to the Mirror Foundation to support disaster relief efforts in areas affected by flooding in Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. This contribution will help rebuild homes and communities devastated by recent floods.
The UCare Foundation is deeply committed to making a global impact by supporting families and individuals in need. Guided by the principles of compassion and community, UCare strives to foster a culture of giving and create lasting, positive change around the world.
Ongoing Relief Efforts with the Mirror Foundation
The Mirror Foundation has been on the ground in Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai for the past two months, tirelessly working to repair and rebuild homes for families affected by the disaster. Their efforts include:
Cleaning: A total of 468 homes cleaned and made livable again.
Supplies: Starter kits provided to 4,932 households, helping them regain stability.
Rebuilding Homes: Active efforts to repair damaged houses and construct new ones for displaced families.
While significant progress has been made, many homes still require repairs, and some villagers have not yet been able to return. Recovery efforts will continue until November 30, 2024, ensuring that families can rebuild their lives and find comfort in returning home.
